Prior to becoming an independent consultant, facilitator and coach, Brit had an academic career in psycholinguistics.

This was followed by a period in corporate leadership and human resources, both inside of an organization where she supported senior leaders in turbulent times, and outside as a consultant. Her clients have spanned a wide variety of industries including energy, health care, banking, automotive, technology, consultancy and FMCG’s.

She has lived in The Netherlands, France, Denmark and Qatar. Her current home base is Oxford, UK. Voluntary work included being Board Chair of Copenhagen International School when it was building a new campus featuring the largest solar facade in the world.

Brit holds a doctorate in Psycholinguistics from the Dutch University of Leiden, obtained after four years at the Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge, UK. She speaks Dutch, English, French and Danish, and has a working understanding of German and Italian.
